I’ve recently released my latest track, number 88, named Zero Day. It’s the 8th track of my 8th album. Feels lucky somehow! This one was quite a tough one to complete, for some reason. I guess it just goes like that sometimes. I’ve known me scrap a song three times before I am happy. I’m edging ever closer to the album Aeon now. It’s taken my quite a bit of time to complete however. Saying that, I am really happy how it’s turning out, and it feels like a solid progression from my PreAmplified album. This latest track, I feel it’s the most polished one of the album so far.
I normally get albums done in a few months, but due to ongoing personal reasons, it’s taken me much longer this time. My first two albums I finished inside a year. I reckon 18 months will have passed by the time I have finished. Although saying that I have also been creating a lot of videos, and preparing myself to hopefully start playing live this year. Not putting any pressure on myself though.
In other news, since the last time I penned a blog post, I’ve been on BBC Introducing Humberside a couple of times, most recently in February 2023. It’s my 14th time on the BBC Introducing show, 13 times on Humberside, and 1 on Sheffield. My music still gets regularly played on some UK radio stations, and I get many plays by Radio TSFC in Germany, thanks to the superstar Oli on the station. He’s been a great supporter of my music through regular plays. I very much appreciate the support I get.
Anyway, I’ve rambled on enough for now. Need to get this bloody album finished!
